The Seasons are Changing

As fall approaches the photography season is getting busy! The leaves are already starting to change colour providing the perfect backdrop for beautiful portraits. I had the pleasure of doing another session with these two cuties just prior to this chilly weather. I was glad that the weather was nice as it gave us an opportunity to play a little dress up....oh how I love little girls. Here's a few of the portraits from this session for you to enjoy.

Glowing

I was so excited when this mom-to-be contacted me for a maternity session. These are some of my favourite shoots to do as I get the warm fuzzies capturing the pure beauty of pregnancy. This momma was absolutely glowing and stunning! Thank you for allowing me to capture the memory of your beautiful pregnancy.

And now the ladies!!

Life has been so hectic and crazy lately that I have been impatiently waiting to post the ladies. Now is the time and I couldn't be happier at the results of our ladies of 2011. They were all such a joy to photograph and looked so beautiful. Graduate K started out the day in the gail force winds(thank heaven for hairspray). I could tell this girl loves to be in front of the camera and so it makes photographing her easy. Graduate A took a lot of flack over her location choice but her decision paid off! The simple country feel was a favourite :) Her pure and natural beauty shone through, as did her silly sense of humour. I definitely laughed a lot throughout her session. And finally Graduate T finished off my day. I could tell family is very important to this grad and it was lovely to see the support she received from all of her loved ones. I have photographed this gorgeous gal before and, just like our first session, she didn't disappoint! Thank you ladies for fun-filled day and best wishes to you in your futures! The Gentlemen

Here are a couple gentlemen from the Class of 2011.  T had chosen a cool location with an amazing old barn and an antique tractor. The feeling of the session suited him completely. His layed back personality and country roots really shone through in his images. We did J's session on his farm and I loved the fresh, green grass and beauty of the large trees. This intelligent, well mannered young man was a pleasure to photograph. Best wishes to both of you in your future and I hope you enjoy your sneak peak.

The Future is Bright

I met up with these two graduates quite a while ago so this post is a little overdue! I have been busy catching up with all of the graduation sessions. Thank you to this young couple for coming out in the heat and continued mosquito infestation to get some portraits done. I know your futures will be bright and I wish you the best in the windy city.

Relay For Life

I just wanted to remind all of my blog followers that tomorrow evening is the Relay For Life event in Alsask. For those who don't know what Relay is, it's a 12 hour, all night walk to raise money and awareness for cancer. I encourage all of you in the area to participate, come check it out or simply donate. You can donate online at the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay For Life website under the Wild Goose Relay For Life. I am donating a gift certificate to the silent auction in hopes of raising money in the fight against cancer. I did this once previously for the Terry Fox fundraiser(which Shauvonne you still need to book in ;) ) and it is very rewarding to know that the money goes towards such a great cause. I hope to see you all there and I especially hope that you will be bidding on this lovely gift certificate :) Thanks a lot and have a safe and enjoyable weekend!

Newborn Storyboard

Just wanted to share one of the storyboards we did of our little guy. We also experiemented with a before and after photo project of when I was 36 weeks pregnant and then when Mason was 1 week old. I've blended them into one photo and am happy with the outcome. Let me know what you think...
